United Jewish Organizations (UJO):

For over 36 years the UJO has been the official representative of the Williamsburg Jewish community for all political matters and government relations.

Challenge: To elicit greater and more positive response from government, especially regarding programs and grants for the needy.

Activity: Schnitzler Associates effectively developed stronger ties to elected and government officials, and created community awareness of the need to participate in local and municipal elections.

Result: A standing-room only legislative breakfast attended by 30 leading politicians; a significant increase in voter turn-out; additional programs for the poor.
