NYC Office of Emergency Management:

This municipal department was seeking to establish CERT teams - groups of neighborhood and community-based volunteers for disaster preparedness and rapid response.

Challenge: To identify appropriate personnel and educate the local Jewish communities in emergency response.

Activity: Schnitzler Associates arranged a course for potential team members from the ranks of Shomrim and Hatzoloh volunteers in Williamsburg.

Result: The successful recruiting of a dynamic core group of 40 members.
